i got the same problem before.in the end,nothing happen.

same with me lah.. the first two day it keep reboot by itself.. so scary...later ok laa...

at first this morning no vibration .. so check check see memang got set vibrate on in silent mode... so restart ...
Then, after that realise the screen after keylock wont black out ... den restart ... restart ... restart ....
Then realise sms come in no light beeping and no vibrate ... so restart .. restart ...
Then convo start issue... wont update the sms come in and cant sms out from convo.. so restart restart restart...
Then convo stuck delete .. restart restart...
Then convo issue again, no vibrate, no light, no notification when sms come in unless i keylock and unlock see got the sms sign.. and i have to go into the inbox to reply ... today my convo failed big time .. restart again ...

not that thingy woh ... the last time i have that is when i at Penang Gurney Plaza at the Nurse clothing thing Restaurant

most of the time it turns out to be ok. My worst experience is my one hang cos of some weird wifi then keep restarting for few hours. Then backup data edi prepare to format.. Then it no prob edi.

Issues like this makes me really worried about getting the N8, even though I've been eyeing it for a loooong time.

even thought got issue a bit randomly, but it never make us regret of getting it. Every other phones also will have some issues ler.

really love garmin! too bad garmin ended support for symbian...hope symbian will become popular again and garmin will come out new version...probably just a dream

for me I always go for clean install the cleaness as I can get will my noob skill...so when I got my n8 I imeadiately reset to factory default and then update till now no hang what so ever...of cause my phone only 4 days old but I believe MAYBE most problem arise from installing mod...I also scared of getting the n8 for a looooooong time witl all the dean n8 reporting and the disaster n97 mine I own make me no confident at nokia I decided to give nokia 1 more chance so I bought the n8 I can tell you get it now!!...you'll love it!!!

definitely just a dream. Garmin won't release further versions for us edi. Probably wan focus on their dedicated gps units. Or maybe cos too many dark side users?

actually official Garmin version for Symbian is until 5.00.50 only. the 5.00.60 and the 6.00.10 was modified and made by some taiwanese using 5.00.50.
Currently i am using the version 6 without any issue, running on malfreemaps.

I see. But I'm a little short of money to get the N8. At least 1 more month.
And will see how the PR1.1 firmware treats you guys first before I make a final decision.

wise choice since its probably coming this week anyway. Its in terms of speed and stability so u can definitely make ur decision based on tat.
