i agree. Especially for those Well known place. Ysrday i come from institut jantung negara to pavilion just took me 3km wit ovi maps.

ovimaps not up to datelah bro... my house at kampung no street in the map.. but garmin with mfm maps have it...

that day actually whole family going The Curve for relative's wedding dinner... that time the Ovi Map is guiding us to go some other path... but my dad keras kepala duwan go in.. my sister say she took that route before, it's going there from inside road, faster...

that's one of the things that Ovi Map is falling behind... their map are always not as updated as Garmin mfm

but if you know your house in kampung and you know route of it why still need GPS?

i thought GPS got to use when going out to some unknown place.... like people outside KL come to 1 utama etc etc...

i only use GPS if travel to KL..damn confusing

of course lah im not using gps to get my house at kampung but sometimes my fren ask where is my kampung and i need to show him the location in the map lah..and the road how to get there..

If can use malsing or malfree maps in ovi, sure ovi map will be the best. Only the first phase of my Taman which completed 10 years ago included in Ovi Maps but the rest (completed around 5-2 years ago) are not. But garmin already include even those lorong-lorong kecil around my area, probably some good guy had free time to explore and submit them to malfree/sing community.

I think, nokia should allow user to update the map la....or at least can add interested place like Foursquare.

Last time my phone had no power and I still don't have car charger. Without gps, I want to go to mid valley, but end up some where around sg besi. For an outsider specially from small town like Kuantan, KL is a nightmare if no gps.
