hard reset then alot of things wont come back like when u first time received ur phone. Qt will be missing, Ovi Store and Maps oso might be missing.
Unless u hard reset and use dark side method to flash the phone again

i hard reset and format the mass storage (E:) before on the 2nd day i got my phone. Then later on i flashed it with Phoenix

backup the wallpaper and the movie trailer then. widgets can be download from FP.
my problem was i installed NetQin then dunno i removed what thing and do a system cleaning then become laggy. Then i performed hard reset and format the mass storage without doing backup (didnt know that it will be missing all those stuff).
After that i tried to do "Reinstall" firmware from Ovi Suite, that time suddenly Ovi crashed when flashing phone. Then my phone became bricked

Ended up i flashed everything back with the mass storage content all together with Phoenix. And actually i've done something dark side into the firmware as well

A-GPS data charge only around ~1kb or 10cents. Only happens when u start Garmin, because it downloads satelite location/information from nokia site. After that it wont charge.
With A-GPS my Garmin able to lock those satelites in less than 10sec.

wondering why u all need so long to install garmin

i guess your original files inside Garmin folder got issue. Need remove then install back the required files and support files then only run the sis installer

if u disable Assisted GPS from Location setting there then it will not charge. But need longer time to lock on the satelites

that day after sent in my sister in-law N8 with power issue. After replaced board then GPS cannot receive signal at all. Then last saturday sent in again for repair. Today went to collect it that time they said ok ady. Then after tested still same, no signal. I think they just made a factory reset. Sumore talked like i dont know use the phone
I request the technician come out talk to me but he hiding dont want come out. The manager came out and said replace the board again after i explained to him ><

yahor... i think the NCC staff are doing some dark side thing lor.. they might be helping to repair those illegal units out there. So they use our IMEI to get a new board from Nokia, then use that new board replace for their darkside customers, then temporary install a faulty board to u. Then later on u will come back to them again to claim another board.
