IF YOU DID NOT HARD RESET BEFORE INSTALL INSTALL ANDROID SDK
ENTER COMMAND PROMPT AND CHANGE TO THE TOOLS FOLDER INSIDE ANDROID SDK AND TYPE
adb shell rm -r /data/*
adb shell rm -r /cache/*
adb reboot

HARD RESET BEFORE INSTALL
HARD RESET BEFORE INSTALL

Know bug: after installed you cant hard reset only via ADB ( ask in irc channel on how to )

Bug Conhecido: Depois de instalado, você não consegue fazer o hard reset, então se você não fez antes, fica impossibilidade de mexer nas configurações, pergunte no IRC como fazer o Hard reset via ADB

SDK Is needed if data reset hasnt been done
If you hardreseted it before flashing you dont need to

I flashed to motafoca's mod last night and charged my phone till 99%.
Just woke around 1pm haha and my batt is down to 60% and within mins it went down to 56%.
I did leave my data connection on over night as I am on unlimited. Is this the factor?

Already finish restroing and update all apps. Now new firmware....gonna try this. But for heavy user the battry look like drain faster also on 2.0.3. But it smooth than leaked one.no lag or missing icon on launcher.

data connection is quite battery consuming, disable live wallpaper

Added on January 20, 2011, 4:02 pmI think we need to put up a tutorial on how to flash mota's mod. yes it is same as the first froyo in the G5 thread but many are still confused. Maybe a video tutorial from any of the testers out there?

This will definitely help answer all the questions and to those who are worried to flash. Including me

i flash to the 2.06 version, but i stuck at android system recovery there...
dun knw what i choose。。。
1.reboot system
2.apply sd card
3.wipe data/factory reset
4.wipe cache pertition

I got the same thing. I did reboot system

crap. ive flashed it. now force close in portuegese/spanish i assume each time my phone runs. help!

Do a Hard Reset and re-flash! Hope it works
