Multi-Touch Support Recovery – Testers Needed!
If you are waiting for fully working multi-touch on your Android device, XDA forum member chad0989 has been working on an updated recovery that supports multi-touch for all devices!
The XDA member states that he is fairly confident that all amoled devices are able to get either 3 or 5 point multi-touch. Note though that there may still be issues with some SLCD devices, hence the request for more testers.
If you are willing to help chad0989 out, take a look at the forum thread and follow the instructions. You’ll need to download his version of recovery and then flash a known working multi-touch kernel and finally use the multi-touch test app from the Market to check if you have more than 2 touch points.
