No doubt the EP is one of the more well-regarded chrono movements. I do have a question for the sifus, how is the reliability of the EP movement compared to the common ETA 7750 or it's variants? And I'd expect it would cost a lot more to service an EP compared to a 7750 ebauche (e.g. Speedy Date and SMP chrono).

detailed review here on the EP movement/watch

personally, if its good enough to be in a Rolex, its reliable. if my budget permits I would have gotten an EP over the 7750 workhorse.

i liked swatch a lot. anyone can give me tips which models from swatch is suitable for profesional?

what do you mean by profesional? professionals like lawyer or investment banker? Swatch is definitely a no-no.

Zenith Elite HW.. affordable and puts you on level playing feel with Rolex and the likes.

Nobody will charge your professionalism based on what you wear!

right, maybe. but I wouldn't trust a lawyer in a leopard print suit with a swatch on his wrist. each to his own.

Nobody wears gold anymore. It's out of fashion.

But like jade and linen, it is something humans instinctively like. Was part of humanity forever. Warm in many ways.

The fashion du jour is for huge blocks of stainless steel in about the size of alarm clocks.

What is remarkable about the Nomos Tetra is that it does not look elaborate, a look people associate with gold. The shape makes the gold look contemporary. Relevant. Non-fussy.

lots of uncles with gold rolex would disagree with you.

Nomos Tetra reminds me of the Stowa Antea.. i love white face + blue hands
