icic... thanks for sifus help smile.gif

early this year i bought my very first pair of OT from Japan biggrin.gif it is very very comfortable until i cant believe its quality haha...
but i m not sure why it is slippery even in a not so wet floor, i almost fall down in the first time when i was walking on wet surface (kakak mopping floor)... does all your OT oso feel the same?

*
How much did you bought it? Yes, OT's soles for Mex 66 is quite slippery. Beware of puddle and wet floor.

@bugb34r
in Japan not all OT are from Vietnam, some from Indonesia and local Japan as well.
the catalog in the shop got written where does it made for each model.

er... wonder y do they make it so slippery?
OT not for casual wear?
*
I'll guess due to mountain shape pattern outsole.

QUOTE(weijun10 @ Jun 24 2011, 02:30 PM)
i was thinking of buying my first OT also but wonder whether the sole will last for everyday wear?? cuz i got a pair of converse which is half worn out after only 1 year of usage...
*
For everyday use? I wasn't so sure it will last or not - as I only wearing my OT occasionally. Experience with converse outsole before. They're not durable at all.

ya and slippery as well... my first impression on 66's outsole is like "woah i think i gonna worn it out in half years time"... btw the outsole of DX looks more decent IMO...
*
My suggestion is, don't rely on one shoes at a time. Regardless any brand, if you wear the shoes everyday in any occasion - pretty sure it will worn out aswell.

Buy more shoes.

Converse Canvas Miller  blush.gif

If you have extra money to spend, get an OT or Jack Purcell. Comparing canvas to leather is a huge different. Plus, from my experience myself of Converse outsole, it's easily ripoff, especially the heel part.
