Asus Z97M-Plus / Asus Z97-Pro Gamer different

1st price gamer series more expensive
2nd gamer series loooks more syok and also as build quality is better
3rd gamer series means OC ... it has better tweaks and features in bios settings when wanna do overclock
4th enchanged LAN gigabit chip on gamer series , but yet not big difference as the speed on connection sometimes depends our ISP which is TM malaysia
5th better audio output , gamer series had enchanged audio chip for audio output expecially using headset, for output speaker wise not difference cos i use good speaker even my audio chip used in the mobo is normal

for the mobo as u requested with chipset x99 or z97 based is not really necessary unless u do heavy overclocking and if do RM4k for overclock mode rig is not enough, u need a k series cpu, x99 or z97 based mobo, high performance ram and at least liquid cooling for cpu in order to boost up performance without heat up too much
