Maybe because i am not by nature a very competitive person and winning is actually secondary for me... I love the fact that Liverpool FC brings so many of us together and also the values that have always been associated with the club and its supporters.
Wasn't Agger ill and unable to continue? Although how can one suddenly fall ill baffles me, unless if he was indeed ill before the match. In that case, the lad's not going anywhere - KK must deem him more important than any of the other CBs!

KK tweets, do any of the other managers do that? Seeing him thank the supporters for cheering the team on last night was a refreshing and pleasant change!

Also, Stephen Warnock seems to be coming back on loan! Not too sure about this one, but it is telling that the revamped management seems to have booted Woy's team selection and tactics right out the door... now if we can only convince Mascherano's wife that living in Liverpool is a worthy sacrifice to keep the hubby's career prospects alive

A couple of days ago, I mentioned that above all, I want to see King Kenny re-establishing the pass and move football we used to play back in the late 80's/early 90's. I expressed my opinion on how I thought signing big players came secondary to this. Since then I've come across this article.

If we didn't manage to bring in any player by the end of the January transfer window, I would like to see Liverpool sacking Mr "Transfer-Strategy-Man" Comoli as well. I don't see the point of him sitting in Liverpool's office doing nothing.. I know we may not have Man City's bank, but Kenny or any manager would have done this by themselves; sitting and waiting for players to come?

i think patience is the key.  Comoli hasnt done anything wrong or right yet.  We still have time.  Judge him after few months.

Kuyt: It's like 'total football'


Dirk Kuyt admits the Liverpool players have found a new lease of life under Kenny Dalglish and has likened the Scot's approach to the much-vaunted Dutch model.
The 30-year-old has been impressed by the way the boss has stamped his mark on the Reds squad and has also reserved praise for the influence of new first-team coach, Steve Clarke.

Kuyt said: "It comes close to the Dutch style. ­Playing with early pressure on the opponents and a passing game with the ball low on the ground. Not all those long balls anymore.

"Dalglish and Clarke have this ­vision. If you have Torres and Gerrard in the team, we will be stronger against 80 per cent of the ­opponents when we put the ­pressure on them in their own half.

"The combination of ­Dalglish and Clarke is a ­really good one. Clarke has come in from outside the club.

"He has the same role as he had earlier with Mourinho at Chelsea. Under Clarke we now do totally different training sessions. We do a lot of positional play in small spaces.

"And while Clarke is ­doing sessions with us, Dalglish will talk all the stress away from the players.

"He is a living legend here. He has the charisma, the experience and the ­confidence to create peace. He also has a fabulous ­connection with the fans. They love him here.

Im not saying he's going to be the new Xabi but his passing ability is quite amazing. Torres have been starved for service for quite sometime now, i think Adam can provide that service. I think he will be even better player under Daglish and for having players like Meireles and Gerrard around him. At the age of 25 and at the right price, i think it would be a good investment.
