wah today sure sleepy one, that Miami final was truly worthy of a final till the last point I dunno who was gonna win , all credit to Novak, he has improved his fitness alot. After the 1st set I figured Nadal would win in straights as it looked like Novak was running out of steam.........guess I was wrong, in fact I think he looked more composed than Nadal after the match. Clay court season is up Nadal has wha 7000-9000 points to DEFEND.....if Novak plays well in the clay court season, I figure he has a chance to end the year No:1.........

Since today Monday.....Monday blues....I post some pictures of my dugged out Yonex frames (Please note these rackets were released in the 80's if I am not mistaken , their PAINT WORK is excellet, WIlson should take a page out of their book....)...if I can find more of this babies....:-P...they hit just like a dream, very hard to explain, I have not strung them with modern poly's.....as you can see the frames are in excellent shape, please see the grommets or lack of them, hahahaha. Just sharing, hahahah actually wanna kipas people to post their frames , doesn't matter if new/old/factory sealed/scratched up, share mah <3

Whoa whoa whoa... Awesome finds you have man. Congrats!

I think from reading the forums in TW, the measurements of the grommet in TW can't fit your St. Vincent model. I think sort of totally different placements.

hey jules,,

smile.gif .. ya quite happy with the find.. i just ordered the grommet eventhough they say cant fit.. i will try modifying the grommet to see if can fit or not.. i heard the holes are abit smaller for st vince's .. so will try to sand papering it to become smaller the grommets..

long time no see man... april 23 , i will be in sunway again.. smile.gif

Added on April 4, 2011, 5:53 pmPrae,

Kev.....I take very good care of my rackets heheheh, if I am not mistaken the racket was released in 1987, I think I got mine in 1988, played with it for 2 years, moved and was in storage ever since.

Regarding St.Vincent Pro Staff yhaaa you wont be able to fit the grommets, even with a heat gun you have to cut the grommets up and the fit them in hole by hole, that is the sure fire way of getting them in.

Also I don't know how much you paid for your St.Vincent, its ok to use once in a while, but if you kena racun, on your precise scalpel of a racket.....very rugi besar to use as a regular hitting racket, just my humble 0.02 cents...
