I just experience the freeze... Not cool... I think this happens when the PS3 de-syncs with the server. After the slow motion i still can move and attack but the enemy life not going down. I got until the overseer there hang.

are the freezing problems faced by users on Unifi as well?

yup my one is unifi 10Mb

You know seeing how this problem always comes up after a certain time(bout 2 mins), regardless of what you are doing, kinda makes me think there is some sort of memory leak there.. Which could explain the PS3 freezing completely and sometimes the ps3 even rebooting.

From my days playing SWG, there is also one reason as to why soe would be silent on an issue. Back then, when they would announce they are fixing an issue, everybody would be chasing them for status updates, and it would be pandemonium if a bug was not fixed in a released patch yet.

Thus, I am hoping that they are actually fixing the issue, but just don't want to be chased by folks online for ETA and status update. This doesn't mean that a fix(if it is being worked on) would take forever to come... There could very well be a hot fix tonight...

TL;DR : we could be cursing one day and be happy the next or cursing more

Did you do anything with your PS3? deleted any installed data etc etc?

I guess DCUO is really not ready for players playing from Asia. It shows when they have yet to officially release an Asian version of the game and players here have to create and use a US account. This is really slacks coming from a company as renowned as Sony. Any idea if there IS any plan from Sony to release the Asian version of DCUO?

I dint do anything to my ps3, just login regularly and it surprise me.
Later night I try again see how it goes.

Added on January 15, 2011, 7:00 pmthere is a problem i encounter when i quit the game. my ps3 hang.... i have to switch off the plug power to restart my ps3.

But overall the game was fun... the control system is perfectly suitable for console system. besides using the hero power we can do combo through the normal atk as well.

I do believe there are more new content are coming in dcuo..
