Without a doubt yes. Its called bodybuilding for a reason not fat building. Do you know how many people I meet claim to be bodybuilders but look like they eat pork chop 5 times a day?

There's an annoying trainer there who acts like he's the shit and talks loud all the time. Used to have blond hair, now redyed it black. jamis, me and kaperskyfan hate the fella. We have labelled him "golden retriever". Know him?

Yes. Uneducated piece of shit. And he has one client, a fella who wears glasses with short hair who grunts and screams like he's more hardcore than Branch Warren but throughout the months I see minimal improvement on his physique. Have you see the way he trains him? Forced reps forced reps forced reps. Lousy lousy trainer. And Mr Golden Retriever has juiced before. So maybe that training style might have worked for him but not for his natty client.

Well he should realize he's not improving. Lol. But so far most of the PT's at Jaya 33 True Fitness are pretty good. I've seen their clients improving week by week, month by month. Don't know about the fresh new PT's though.

Lol... on an OT note, I've been training at Giza's TF. I love the environment there, small but VERY good machines. The PT's there didn't believe me when I told them all my arm workouts are only cable work with a Smith machine CGBP or weighted dips thrown in sometimes. So today I camped at the cable attachment station for almost an hour.

I need a change of environment sometimes. It gets stale training all the time in the same place. Like dating the same woman repeatedly. Plus my membership is passport what.

Fitness centers have been getting a lot of bad reputation recently. Heck, not just recently but all the time. But imho, in some ways it can be way better than ghetto gyms. Research and development have progressed by leaps and bounds. Some even function better than the conventional barbell and dumbbell presses. All my chest workouts are pure machine based, I've not touched free weights for that bodypart in months. Shoulders also machine based.

I mean, I guess if you learn to zone out annoying people there and the shitty noise from the group exercise classes, one can have a really enjoyable workout.

Which gym? I can't curl your bodyweight. I would be Ronnie Coleman already. Last I tried was 63 kg and that was barely 3 reps. Hate the fact barbells did shit for my biceps. My body is one picky b****.

It depends on what level you start your deadlifts from guys. Both of you are right. pin adjustment on the rack.
