Shogun 2,bought, download, not yet start play

Crysis 2 wan keluar, I just start play Crysis 1.

I also bought it on sales but I never play it..until recently

i completed 0 of them i have to change my habit of collecting them but not playing.

yea i play mostly games with online like css, l4d2, tf2. some stories game like GTA IV , BFBC2 already reach half way. i will try to finish darksider i bought yesterday

How many SP games do you have on your Steam?

Eg. GTA4 and etc.

well, i dunno how many of you know this...but i just noticed that for price comparison (steam vs retail)l, for new games...the retail pricing is nearly the same as it could be found on steam, without any discounts

game stores usually earn about rm10~rm20...which is kinda "reasonable" i would say

for those with a non unifi connection and don't wanna wait for their dl to complete, retail is worth it, furthermore, you get something to look at and hold onto...XD

and also, amazingly the retail version is release like (same day/1 day late) only from steam

It is meant to be that way, if digital distributors sell the games cheap like 20% to 30% less than retail, very few people would opt for retail.

Also, developers love digital distributors since they can get a better margin.

Digital Distro:

Developer = > digital distro = > end customers

Retail:

Developer = > publisher => wholesale => regional distributor => local distributor => retailer => end customers.

haha, that's why steam is able to provide "crazy" sales and those are the time you should buy them off...XD

It is not just applicable to Steam but to other digital distributors as well.
