The next thing you can try would be to install Hotspot Shield. It's a free VPN & you only need to run it to get Steam connected. Disconnect from Hotspot Shield once you've logged into Steam.

In Steam US, the price has changed for Crysis but weird enough, in our region it's the Dead Space series that is having promotion.

Try checking the price list in the offer bin.

Yeah, it's actually pretty normal for Steam whenever they perform a transition from a promotion to another. In fact, it's a good time to grab games that have prices listed as way too low than normal.

It means that whether you like it or not, you'll get a copy of the GOTY when you purchase the Augmented Edition. However, I'm not sure if there's a requirement for you to have the GOTY in your Steam in order to gift it to someone else.

Checked around too but no answer so far. In most case, if you don't have the GOTY in your Steam, it'll tie it to your account for you.

Not really. In my case, the problem lies with PayPal's practice of randomly picking up transactions for review, which means that they withhold the transferred fund until the recipients acknowledge themselves as legitimate payee. Steam didn't get the money & subsequently locked my account & trust me, it's not easy trying to coordinate communication between these 2 giants; PayPal being adamant that they need the acknowledgment while Steam claimed that it's a problem between me & PayPal.
