Hi guys. I was over the moon when iPad is officially launched in Malaysia. I was more ecstatic to actually see it being sold by premium resellers without having to buy those overpriced underwater iPads. I was actually looking for a good e-book reader. I first saw Kindle when I was in the States and was thinking of getting one. Luckily, somehow, I feel like I need to Google it and see the review and that's when I read about a blog saying that it will not hit Malaysian shores as it's books are restricted by regions. Then there's Nook also contents restricted by regions. Then I saw a light at the end of the dark ebook tunnel. The iPad. Unfortunately, today only I learned that the books are also region restricted. Fuuuuu. I was ready to take on the 64GB 3G model! So is the iPad still for me? or maybe I can still get those books if I jailbreak the iPad? What do you guys think?

Hey guys, thanks for the reply and support. The fact that I didn't know that I can Google ebooks is because after Googling, I find it that only through ibookstore that you can get an ebook for iPad. @GrimmReaper, after purchasing my iPad, I hope you dont mind if I drop a PM on you and bother you a bit on how to get the books So is it safe to say that I can get any / most books that I wanted on the iPad?
