It's good actually, for free antivirus. Very less false positive detection, and less software crash (I rarely get crashes with MSE) If i install MSE, is it necessary to install the windows defender as well?

.Install MSE alone is enough and don't have to worry about window defender, we don't need them after MSE.
Btw, MSE will automaticly disable window defender by it's own (just if your windows have Window Defender).
