For the latest Speedmod, K12L, it may attractive features is improve sound for Radio right. I hardly use FM Radio, should i upgrade from K12K ?

When u open the tweak option, it is recommended to switch it on, as all this will just improve the UI for ur phone, make it smoother.

Jz realised our SGS can't really handle multitask hee...
was receiving files via Bluetooth from my lappy, i also download the voodoo app from market via wifi, 1st time seeing my phone that lagged to carry out this 2 jobs together since i 1st got it hee...

Simple.

1st disable ur voodoo by either way:
1) create a disable voodoo folder in ur voodoo directory or
2) recovery mode - voodoo advance > disable lagfix

Once done the either of steps from above, reboot ur phone where u can hear the sexy voice

Then u can install speedmod ... CMW.zip from ur recovery

All with ®

If ur 3 buttons function work, u can change to any ROM...

aiya... if u prefer the X bootanimation
u can always change it mate
it is dam simple.

here the steps:

1) 7zip, extract the bootanimation.zip from any of the Darky ROM system > media that contain the X bootanimation
2) transfer this bootanimation.zip to ur sdcard
3) Root explorer RW this bootanimation to system > media
4) reboot ur phone. vola... u got the X bootanimation

I jz did this to my DOC v7.9.5...

ps : incase u really love the exisiting bootanimation, so before u replace the bootanimation (X), do make a backup or copy of the exisiting bootanimation.zip to somewhere, u can always revert it with the above step 3 and 4 to change back to the exisiting bootanimation.

Perhaps ur root explorer is a earlier version, try to install the latest version. it may work
latest is 2.13.3

any screen show of new darky bootanimation?

Jz out of curiosity, downloaded Darky 8.1 as wanna see how the bootanimation. I must say.... THAT is absolutely CHILDISH and Downgrade the SGS... it is not because of Transformer, it is because of the DARKY ROM wording, Custom ROM Guru been in the field for so long, i have not seen DOC design something which put his name there.

Would try to get a snatch of it if i can find another camera to do it.

No wonder some of u who upgraded to 8.1 complaint about the bootanimation.

Kernel wise... speedmod still the best now. Sadly that Ya-ok is no longer upgrade it liao haiz...

Ya... the BIOS one from the Darky 5.x is very cool indeed

Simple.

Extract whichever bootanimation.zip from system>media via 7zip
then transfer to ur sdcard
root explorer transfer the extracted file to replace the one in system>media (pls make u r on rw mode)

take out battery and leave it for 20 sec, then place it back.

press this 3 buttons together to see if u can see download mode : vol down + power + home

keep pressed until u see the 1st boot screen ie the Galaxy GT-9000. then release all ur fingers.

If u can't get into this, then one answer for u.... visit the nearest samsung service centre

Sounded like the chip on ur simcard giving u problem, It is just something like out MyCard chip. take a eraser (rubber) rub the chip to clean the surface. If still recur, u may have to take ur simcard back for replacement.

There is no increment of battery consumption if using 500Hz

Yup, u dun need to disable lagfix if upgrade Hardcore kernel
