How is your experience with Speedmod K12N 500Hz on Darky's v8.1?

I just tried the Call Logs and Favourites...there is no lag. The info pops up almost instantly.

Under Spare Parts, I set windows to Slow.

I'm on Darky's 8.0. Speedmod kernel 12N 500 Hz, no tweaks, no lagfix.

When I download a Chinese song via Gtunes, the title of the song can be seen in Chinese character.

But when I play it again using MIUI or the stock Music player, the title appears in some kind of weird characters. It doesn't show the Chinese character.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

That's weird, my MIUI player cannot show the chinese character.

Is your MIUI player standard that comes with Darky's ROM or you installed it from somewhere else?

No, haven't detected anything so far.

The cool thing is you can locate your phone if u lose it.

It can also remotely wipe out yr data if your phone is stolen.

PowerAmp versus MIUI music player...which one better?

I use My Backup Pro. It's quite good too.
It backups to my External SD card by default.
So, even if I format internal sd card-no problem.

It can backup all your sms, mms, calendar, etc easily.

Okay, I'm flashing to Darky v9 now.
Hope I don't screw up...

I have been switching to and fro from Docs to Darky.

The last Doc's Rom I tried was XXJPY 6.2. My external SD card became read only. Cannot copy files to it.

Then I switched to Darky v8.0, and now v9.0.

While I was on Doc's Rom, I missed Darky's flying animation.
While I was on Darky's Rom, I missed Doc's bright n colourful interface...haha

I think probably is your Apn setting.

I'm on Maxis. No problem sending and receiving MMS on Darky v8.0 or v9.0

Perhaps those on Celcom can help u out.

I tried both Darky's V8.0 and v9.0.

I feel that v9.0 is faster than v8.0. Battery consumption about the same.
V9.0 comes with many fonts which is quite nice.

I'm flashing to v9.02 now

For those who flashed to Darky's 9.0.2, do you still have the flying animation when the menu pops up.

Mine doesn't have the flying animation already...why har???
