hey fornx... is the tweaks in speedmod useful... i'm not sure wat it does i just enabled lagfix...

another thing i'm experiencing with my phone is that there's a delay when i press the power button to unlock my phone. The screen appears mayb a second after i press but not quick, as i remember its really fast... like instant... at least on my previous SGS that is
*
i'm using epic lockscreen also, but no such delay. usually, the delay kicks in when i unlock my phone right after i lock it. seems to be smoother with tweaks on. maybe you installed too many apps? tongue.gif

QUOTE(holypredator @ Jan 20 2011, 12:24 AM)
Nvm about that
After this ... what sshould i do next??

Before this, after you got speedmod, go to recovery, then select choose from zip, then select darkky's rom
*
all i did was enable tweaks.... then i cant seem to use the 3button combo anymore...

each time i use the 3 button .... it just loop the I9000 Galaxy S ui ...... if i let it go.... it will just boot up the phone..

No, I hvnt backed up all apps n files. It ll affect them? Will do more research b4 I try. I heard dxjpb modem doesnt suck battery as much as xxjpy. So I want to try.
*
It won't. If you can find a CWM version of the modem, it'd be easier and safer. Try looking back a few pages back. someone showed how to flash modem through odin.

once you got into recovery, is your darkky wipe version in your INTERNAL SD?

if yes, then select choose zip from SD, then select your darkky's rom

Anyhow, doc has just updated his rom with DXJPB modem. You might want to look at it.

For mine, I had to press power button at a certain angle to make it work. Just be patient and gentle with it smile.gif

easy, get the corresponding modem.bin file and replace it to an existing CWM-compatible modem zip file.

To replace, you need 7-zip software because it will properly open the zip file. I have JPP modem attached.

addon: cannot attach file? anyhow: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17959/JPP_modem.zip

You can always reflash speedmod kernel through CWM.
