no, not really... in terms of hardware that is.

e71 harware is good, and it shows in the 2nd hand pricing of this phone.

Don't get me wrong, I do like my current phone. I just miss some of the things the tube did better

screen - better for video. used to watch tv series while on the bus
gps - really fast + free ovi maps some more which can run offline... on android have to pay...
music - better speakers and audio quality from the jack
battery- lasted longer on standby
updates- at least it got some. can use other phone's firmware

camera - ok, mabe this one not so great hihi


All in all, this phone was a great buy when it first came out.
I'm happy to see it still being used by so many to this day.
My wife still uses this phone, even opting to change some internal parts that were broken rather than change phone.

if i go to a website and it says "memory full, close application", does it mean my memory not enough?

how to set it to use the memory card space instead of phone space? my memory card still have 5GB, hard to believe not enough. i guess most likely it is accessing my phone memory

memory full it means your RAM tak cukup...

Emm, you cannot increase the RAM for a phone physically. I do not monitor the RAM in details.

I only close all the background application before going online since noboday should call in when i am using my dedicated to online sim card is not made known to the others.

Yeap, you can't increase it unlike PC, it's better you close all applications and clean the RAM with RAMblow first before entering those heavy sites

is this truth using s^1 CFM lconsumes more battery compared to S60V5 ?

I've found out that CFW slide to unlock is eating battery.

light usage :
1. Enable - 2 days
2. Disable - 5 days

Just use Killme to terminate POPUPCLOCK.EXE.
Use Mykeylock to customized any key to unlock.
I set mine to double red key.

currently i flash back to photon c6, battery is good there.
i flashed to 5800-02 cfw, it drain batt like crazy,
i wanna try several CFW before sticking to a good one i guess.
cant find CFW which have HS built in , only for 51 not 52..

Hi all,

need some help. I accidentally deleted a svchost.exe file and now my computer can't connect to the internet.

previously i set up my 5800 as a modem to connect to the net but now that "dial up connection" disappeared and I have to use my Ovi Suite to connect.

I tried to set up the connection again i.e.

*99#
maxis
wap

but the wizard will just say "wizard cannot create the connection"

please help....

i really need ur help guys...suddenly my phone giving problems with touchscreen....press but no response,n if can press d touchscreen,its not stable,runs to other icon(dunno how 2 explain) & if go setting and wanna go adjust setting,the phone restart itself.....i just hard reset my phone,n same problem persist...please help me !!!!

Although it is been a while i use my nokia 5800 as a internet modem, but your setting is quite weird for me.

For me, i use the "unet" access point for maxis prepaid sim card.
