Any Beyerdynamic T1 owner here?
I'd like to ask what's your feeling when you bought it LOL

Joke aside, I'm interested with how does it feel when you put that on your head, and sounds coming from the headphone itself biggrin.gif

Wow, found Beyerdynamic here! Lucky didn't press confirm at amazon and ebay. The import duty is crazy.

Please quote me these 2 items.
1) Beyerdynamic T5P
2a) Beyerdynamic base station (not A1, the 5.1 version)
or
2.b) Smyth Realiser A8

Thanks.

Off topic but, what is the import duty?
From US? lol
I've thought of bringing a couple of headphones from UK when I'm leaving here but afraid of being taxed lol

I calculate backward is about 30% of the purchasing price.  About RM 3300 for both headphone and the base station.
Base station amazon not sure location; headphone ebay germany.

This may not be the actual amount because the merchant may put extra in order to make sure it is sufficient.  They will refund the remaining if there is.

Holy crap, 30% of the purchase price?? shocking.gif
Jesus Christ.

Im planning to get an AKG 530 from jaben.what u guyz prefer at a price range of 500~600?I listen most to K-pop music~

Get something else, it does not worth the money.
K530 is something like a prettier K44 lol.

How much is a K530 in Malaysia anyway? It's 75-80 pounds here in UK.

Direct from US lol.
Avoided the tax by under declaring somehow.

I hope Jaben can be the official distributor of Schiit in Malaysia lol. I'm pretty sure plenty of the folks would want to try them out.

Just a question if I may :

How do I set a preamp setup?

For example I've got E9 and Lyr, can I hook E9 in as a preamp?
If so, how does the circuit go?

I just got a line out cable for my sony player and was thinking about it lol.

Ahh Jaben...A place truly evil. And I've decided to write a short review regarding the headphone.

Anyway, my first headphone purchased in Jaben SS15 was done last 2 weeks and...I think even though the place is evil, the money was well spent lol.

Beyerdynamic DT1350.
My first high-end portable supra-aural headphone.
I'll describe the headphone in a quick and simple manner. (Because I just don't know how to write a damn review. lol)
Analytic. Accurate. Clarity. SATISFACTORY.
Yep. Unlike its similar sibling, T50p, it produces much more accurate and clarity that will blows your mind away, in an elegant way.

Now to be frank, all these while I thought I can never find anything more fabulous than this.

Sure, I don't have much headphones and I have just ventured to this vast world of headphone but..I never expect a portable headphone actually gave me the almost equal feeling of what HD800 gave when I was unpacking DT1350. Yep, it is THAT nice.

Anyway, another selling point of DT1350, the build factor.
It's mainly built of aluminium, and comfy leather padding at the head band and earpads.

The split headband is so awesome that I think I actually bought DT1350 solely because of it.
You can bang your head so hard, feeling that your neck is going to break, but the headphone is however, going to stay.

The only downside though, is the tightness. It clamps on my head very tightly that at some point it causes dizziness lol. But I think I've gotten used to it now.

I bought the headphone bundles, DT1350, Feels 3D flexible in-earphone and GoVibe Martini for RM1499.
I could have bought the Headphone itself when I'm back in UK but I feel that the bundle, worth the extra RM200.

Got some freebies headphone casing for my HD800 as well, I'm a happy man lol!

lold

personally, i dont see how this should be compared to the t50p, i mean, its basically the improved version, using beyer's  much acclaimed tesla technology drivers. but i guess, being a predecessor it does share that inevitable fate of being compared to.

anyways, i am much more interested on the govibe martini, how is it?

whats the non bundle pricing of it? (perhaps jaben folks can answer this instead)
*
Well..I did not try any others same class headphone so T50p was the only thing I can compare with lol.
Unless..PX100-II and PX200-II..lol

I dunno how to describe the Martini but, I guess better seperation and smoother mid.
