I just bought Ms1i from jaben ss 15. When i am using the headphone, sometime there is a crackling noise from the headphone. I just want to know if it is normal or a beginning of a problem?

whats the volume level, source quality and what is it that you connect the MS1i to?

drool.gif drool.gif for the iBasso DX100

My hippo Groove is nearing to its retirement, now intermittent sometimes and getting worse....I love em, definitely the one I'll be taking as opposed to the supplied earphones that comes high-end handphones....

Now...the new ones I'll be looking for will need to be better in terms of SQ and must be durable like the Hippo (the Groove is a tank, trust me tongue.gif ) I would be wearing them for daily commute to work in LRT n buses, so catching someone elses bag or watch are common abuse that it must stand...must also be able to handle light rain...the Groove doesn't have holes so making it a very good candidate to use even when God decide to wash the filthy KL city...

Any ideas??? hmm.gif

Wow I am afraid that you are torturing your earphones and it fails you.
Maybe you can try the Sport type, like the Audio Technica CKP300 sport.
Or the Japan Final Audio Adagio 2?

Lol...normal bro when commuting everyday using LRT n buses....

Btw, I just got myself a XBA-1 from Sony Wings KLCC...after listening to numerous songs on my hp for 20++ mins, I decided to get it over the A-Jays 3 (tested at Machines and LYP) and a couple of Ultimate Ears demo earbuds....

Heck the A-Jays 3 sounds like a mouse singing to my ears...no openess at all...at first I tot it was faulty, when i test another 2-3 shop test unit, oso like mice trying to sing to your ears type of sound.... rclxub.gif

A Jays 2 was better but the Sony just really neutral sounding.... thumbup.gif
