There are two types of courses you can go for:

A) ABRSM syllabus - Formal music education with Exams from grades 1-8 --> Diploma --> Degree
B) Casual play - More on the pop musics. No Exam, just for casual play (Including play by ear, it's a technique).

Keyboard != Piano

I prefer personal piano teacher that comes to the house.
Pretty piano teacher will be a great motivating factor that makes you practice harder! LOL
