QUOTE(Sheep319 @ Jan 10 2011, 01:05 AM) oh wow Shelvey is 18!? yap.one thing about their manager, he is hell bent man, lebih kurang mcm our gaffer.you not producing youre out thats his philosophy x kisah if youre a star or not.back then in his hay days he had the boot room running at pool, we had the hair dryer.PERGH HE'S YOUNGER THAN ME. D: either way, I wanna talk about about Liverpool kalau boleh. sebab i sked masuk liverpool thread. Shelvey came on and had quite a bit of impact on the second half, but I lol'd at that free kick clearance. Kelly on the right was amazingly effective. Props to him. Torres was nothing, but N'Gog replacing him, takut la also, when Babel and N'Gog combined, scary man that. This post has been edited by mhyug: Jan 10 2011, 01:10 AM |

it is time for the manager to show whose the boss. i'm sure it is true but some of liverpool fans told me that Gerrard and Carragher been running the show in Liverpool. not something good. No player should be bigger than the club.

QUOTE(Wan @ Jan 10 2011, 12:35 AM) It was a penalty. Agger clearly tackled Berbatov. Berbatov went down too easily there, but it's still a penalty. If he didn't fell then, it would have been harder for him to make anything out of the situation since Agger delayed him a little by that tackle. The player doesn't need to fall for the ref to blew his whistle. Anybody remember about Vidic's rugby tackle in the CC final which went unpunished! And it was clearly a red card in Gerrard's case. Two footed lunge. Not the first time he does it and actually in the past he got away with them. Not this time. Rafael's could have been the same, but his was nowhere near as bad as Gerrard's was. He didn't lunge at Mereiles. |

makes me wonder how did Nigel De Jong escaped a red card for that kung fu kick on Alonso.

I am not surprise because I think it is normal for senior players got higher influence but then again strong will manager that rule with iron fist ala Sir Alex and Mou will contol the team |

All in all, a good game and a few players got to clock in a few minutes. The part where the United had 5 shots on goal was a surefire thriller. Reina had a good game but his distribution was ... not convincing.

The player doesn't need to fall for the ref to blew his whistle. I thought it was a soft penalty. I didn't think it was clear cut enough to merit a penalty. Perhaps from the ref's angle it seemed obvious. And it was clearly a red card in Gerrard's case. Two footed lunge. Not the first time he does it and actually in the past he got away with them. Not this time. Rafael's could have been the same, but his was nowhere near as bad as Gerrard's was. He didn't lunge at Mereiles. The red card is a clear red card. No doubt about it. Studs up, both feet in the air. If he had caught Carrick in an awkward position, you can be sure he would've broken Carrick's leg. I thought there was absolutely nothing wrong with Rafael's tackle. Studs down and both feet stayed on the ground. The opposition player wasn't even in any danger. Rafael just got in the way of the ball. QUOTE(Sheep319 @ Jan 10 2011, 01:05 AM) oh wow Shelvey is 18!? QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Jan 10 2011, 01:15 AM) Johnson's partner took the wrong time to have a baby lol. (well I assume it's this way because he's on maternal leave)anyway as for the penalty claim, Agger was already positioned badly, with striker's back facing him. Tackling, nudging, pushing is already an instant offence due to tackling from behind. he should've only shield the ball, covering Berbatov in attempting not to get past him. |
