I play COD Black Ops multiplayer, Civillization 5 and DOTA these days. I'm not sure but it looks like Prime/LinX can't conclude if the chip is really stable because we can pass the test for hours and it still crashes sometimes, lol.

go for linx 500 run brows.gif so far i dont have 1 time BSOD/crash in continuous gaming 8 hours ( back ops,crysis 2, shift2)

because you using linx with new library, but look at your clock speed, i using 2500k at 4.5ghz can hit 124 GFlops, I think you should hit around 130GFlops,some time it gone down to 10x/11x but linx will stop at error.

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Apr 5 2011, 11:33 AM)
rather than running 500 times

try  50 with 3500mb
lol
1800mb??
eh

may i ask how to set 3500mb? only able to make it 3300, cause bro owikh claim more stress in normal mode compare to stress in diagnostics mode

Added on April 5, 2011, 6:38 pmalso wanna ask about the power saving feature.

when e8400 era, i oc after that i set EIST and C1E , when idle will drop multiplier and voltage.
sandy bridge i oc after that i set EIST , C1E and other power saving feature on. but only manage to drop multiplier. voltage keep constant.

is that i use offset to + my processor voltage instead of set a exact value then it will lower voltage when i idle? if not , what the use of offset?

what clock you running? i can get 124GFlop at 4.5ghz (64bit OS ), 102GFlop (32bit OS)

Added on April 7, 2011, 2:01 pmowikh, i notice people at Intel 4.5GHz & 5GHz LinX Stable Club mention about AVX, so, what is AVX?

How can u compare HT on n HT off ler  rclxub.gif
*
har? don't get what you mean? so you mean without HT on is higher GFlops?

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Apr 7 2011, 04:17 PM)
Basically it's all about a new computing power.
Eg. New linpack is coded to make use of AVX.
o..thx for explanation.

So mean 8 thread i7 2600k will get more GFlops? My i5 2500k 4 thread with 90+ GFlops is acceptable right?
*
aiyo, look clearly what owikh said doh.gif , he mean ht off will get higher GFlops

please show us a full info about your setting, use cpuz to show cpu clock speed, ram clock speed etc. hard to judge ,because you only show a linx screenshot.

@firagaz, can you show you ram speed? cause i also clock at 4.5ghz now, how come i can get 124gflop but you only get 95gflop

aiyo, if wan clock then don't scare, if scare then don't clock high clockspeed like this lo.
in my opinion , i think 4.5 compare to 4.9 not much different in daily using. i set it to 4.5 enough.
and for the voltage . as long as u don put 1.8 + 2.0v like that , no burn mark, intel 1 to 1 exchange to you within 3 years if processor faulty. what u scare?

Added on April 22, 2011, 5:14 pmbtw, may i ask what cooler you using to get 93c at 4.9 ghz ? quite good temp if you ask me. and what program you use to stress?

i using h70 with 2500k 4.5ghz linx already reach 82c, don't even dare to think about 5 ghz sure beyond 100c.

aim for 64 bit os 3.2gb to 3.5gb ram 500 pass, 20 passed is nothing, i tried 1xx loop fail 2xx fail 389 loop fail and 477 fail when ram less 0.05v, but after complete 500 runs , rock solid stable flex.gif
