You found an image of a VHS tape!!

I watched the first Jurassic Park movie and then read Michael Crichton's book (which is VERY good).

I became addicted to Michael Crichton and waited religiously for the second book.

I actually bought a hard cover Jurassic Park The Lost World book in Hong Kong.

I love the book and Steven Spielberg, basically use the title and a fraction of the book in the second movie...

Admittedly, there are WAY more action in the movie compared with the book and have to add, the book was alot more... cerebral...

The third movie were basically scenes from the first and second book, the ILM could not managed to produce because of lack of technology (CGI speaking). Namely, the flying dinosaurs Pterodactylus (commonly known as pterodactyls)

So, the third movie was a Frankenstein monster, so to speak...

If you like the 1st movie, chances are you will love the 4th...

Give it a chance, why don't you.

SPL II (2015) - Not bad...

Fantastic Four (2015) - This F4 is just not so good compared with Fantastic Four (2005)... Story no good, outfit no good, acting not so good, action not good... The casting line up is bad... I loved cast line up of Fantastic Four (2005)

RM8 why so cheap one???

Sad but true, Hong Kong movies, have actors who are going through the motions rather than being invested in the characters they play.

Really sad, when so many gems came out of Hong Kong during the 80s and 90s....

Amy - The best documentary of 2015.

Like Senna, this documentary felt a lot more like watching a fully formed movie instead of a reportage or expose. The narration strictly uses archival footages with very minimum talking heads. The editing and VO truly capture her presence in the film. The first five minutes, you get to see a teeny 16 year old belting happy birthday like a real seasoned jazz diva. It simply does not compute with what you are seeing on the screen. Beside her scandalous image, the documentary captured time and time again of her magical jamming session. She's that real deal who holds so much talent that is so envious is an understatement. While her downfall is your typical troubled artist who couldn't cope with overnight success, there are equally genuine good people around her that doing their utmost to help her. It's really sad that she couldn't get ahead of the bad situation with terrible men in her life. At the end of it all you gained a deeper respect and appreciation of her albums. Totally Oscar deserving masterpiece.

JJ Abrams is obviously playing it safe by sticking very close to ep4/5/6's formula, which in the end makes for a predictable plot but still enjoyable movie(especially after what, a 30years wait for a good Star Wars movie? )

- Great music from Kenji Kawai
- Great drama

Negatives
- Apart from Cheung, no other antagonists had an ending, in fact most of the baddies got off lightly for what they did;

Colombiana (2011) - 

The 5th Wave (2016)

Independence Day + 2012 + Twilight/Warm Heart + Hunger Games/Maze Runner/Divergent and a low budget and you kinda sorta get this movie!

Okay, before I get any further, let me just say Chloë Grace Moretz (Kickass) is all grown up!!

This movie is getting thrashed left, right and center.

I have to say, Chloë Grace Moretz gave a pretty good performance

As for the story, I feel that is tried too hard to be everything to the audience and don't quite deliver on all the front, which is where most people take offence.

Another thing. Why the hey is Nick Robinson all over the place now?

He was in Melissa and Joey (TV Series), then, Jurassic World and now this? Why all the choice project. I don't find him to be that good an actor....

Not trying to give too much away, this movie is basically about aliens invasion.

The aliens have superior tech, but human have... Well go see.

Oh how the times have change


On the whole I think this movie is an average movie.

I literally had two hours to kill so I went, and It was an okay two hours as opposed to standing around not having anything to do...

Great movie.

Lots of haha. Very rude. Very violent.

Ryan Reynolds was born to do this character.

I do have one complain, why did they detached from the X-Men universe (meaning why is Colossus a different actor?)

Disney has the golden touch (of story telling) again.

This is a very good movie.

I don't care who you are, as long as you have the ability to feel, this is a movie for you!

Well, with a title like THAT, is there any doubt what this movie is about?

If you want ACTION, this movie is for you.

If you like ACTON heroes, this movie is for you.

If you think America can do NO WRONG (even at the expense of everybody else in the world), this movie is DEFINITELY for you.

There is nothing here that is beyond beyond your expectation.

So, if the above is your cup of tea, this movie is the BOMB (do you young'un still use that??!).
