If you just used standard OS6 on 9700 then it is okay, if you try to add on more apps then it will become slow...

normally i dun use a lot of apps in bb lah .. just standard to chk mail n chat. coz i hav ip4 as well smile.gif but the standard browser in bb really slow man... hopefully the os6 will b better.

first gotta load up win7 onto my mac first .. haha...

btw the emails and my contacts, if i just do upgrade to os6 wun be deleted right ?

Backup via BlackBerry Desktop Manager and it will be restored back upon completion of upgrade...

Unless your is Vodafone BlackBerry then you can directly update via Dsektop Manager if not then you need to manually download and install it...

default desktop manager would be vodafone. but there are customized DM that cater that specific version.

for instance Roger's DM, etc

so if you're always sticking to the same version provider, u dont need to download manually, as you are able to detect it automatically.

mine is the digi package bold II 9700. so even if i click update software gives me NO update found

I use my pc install os6 to my bb..then can I still use my pc install to another bb??

yes you can. each profile will be saved separately eventhough u have two devices connected to same comp

just wanna checkup when u mention the 1st step add/remove the previous OS? which means remove the previouse BB Desktop manager 5.01?

Uninstalled whatever OS in your PC from removed program menu, not removed Desktop Manager...

but having a little problem running in my bb,such as sometime will hang..scare they blame me. laugh.gif
