AFAIK, our class will be conducted at Pauh. As for the hostels, I'm not sure yet. Last time when I ask Prof Bad about it, he says that we'll stay at Kg. Wai. But some of the SRC (MPP) and Development Unit told me that we'll be located either inside pauh campus, or Sungai Chucuh. Just wait for the annoucement in fb, portal or student mail...

Computer Engineering is one of the senior course there. So, you dun need to worry about accreditation. Basically the course is about Electronics Engineering, but they major it up to computer. You'll learn things about C/C++ programming, Digital Electronics, Microprocessors System, Embeded System, Computer Architecture, Mobile Computing, Operating System and a little bit about Computer Networking. If you able to coupe yourself with coding and designing, I think its not hard for u to score well. You just need to be creative, thats all...

Photonic is a subdivision of electronic engineering. I didn't knew well about this course, since its a new course. I think you can visit UniMAP's website and take a sneak peak about the course. Your course is under The School of Microelectronics Engineering. I heard that ur school is easy to transfer credit for ex-diploma student...

If u unhappy with the course, you can always change it. But u need to go there first, and register. Its easy to change course is ur desired course is in the same school. You just need the dean's approval to do so.

Micro-e mostly is all about semiconductor field. Wafer fabrication, Chip assembly, Failure analysis. If u are interested in those, go for it. You need to be good in designing if you really wanna pursue over this one...

Micro-e and Computer Engineering is the first 2 course exist in unimap.....

So I believe u know Dr Faizal Jamlos, Mr. Shaiful Aziz, Mr. Sani and other lecturers from the first and second batch. FYI, Dr. Faizal is currently the Deputy Dean in SCCE....

Its kinda to do that dude. From non engineering to engineering. I can't promise u anything bout that. To change course from different school, u need to have approvals from both of the dean. But by looking in ur case, I can sense its gonna be hard....

Firstly, Hi junior. I'm 3rd year Computer Engineering student. I also hold a diploma In Electronics Engineering (Maj Computer) from Seberang Perai Polytechnic. Let me brief u abit What is Computer Engineering...

Conputer Engineering is a subdivision of Electronics Engineering. We learn about Electronic Component and Circuit that related to computer system. Basically, we learn on how computer (CPU, GPU, RAM, ROM, Chipset, etc..) operates.

The difference between degree level and diploma level is,
-In diploma, we learn on how to troubleshoot problems.
-In degree, we learn on how to design and make the system operates. And of course, we also learn basic things about troubleshoot as well...

All words come from senior exquisite_markas are true. Its mostly about electronics. But if you're interested with Linux and Android, we do have teams of lecturer that are expert with it....

You can always ask me anything, I'll try to assist u. Because b4, I'm also as the same person as u. A crazee no-lifers computer geek....

Some of seniors say that that camp is for those who r eligible to compete in the next Campus Election. I have no idea...

Pilihanraya Kampus. An election to select new SRC/MPP members for this academic year...

Still thinking bout it. Either wanna compete or not. I already mengelat so many time, but still my name were still there...

SRC stands for Student Representative Council. English term for Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar(MPP)
