I encountered many eBayers selling iPAD (below market price) with a year warranty. Before I hit the BUY button I just wanna make sure the warranty can be claimed. Can someone share if they are genuine and trustworthy? I don wanna face problem with warranty after receiving the item from them. Apparently, they offer very attractive price like RM2k for a 64G+3G.

Well, they replied me with certainty that they have several units of genuine APPLE IPADs with warranty from APPLE..... 7 days money back if not satisfied. How about that?

most probably its those china pirated iPads.... don't go for those. I would suggest you to get it directly from Apple since Malaysia is selling iPad at the cheapest price in the world.

Sounds so bad......and sad, if that really is the case... can't imagine how ppl can make up stories nowadays just to earn a few bucks. You're right, I might as well get it direct from Apple.

PS: This is the first time I heard abt China made iPAD.......anyone wanna share?

Always buy COD. At least you can arrange to meet up at an Apple Service Provider (VR Tech, Sapura, Machines etc) to check on validity of warranty and legitimacy of the sold item.

a lot of eBay sellers are genuine too. Some might just wanna sell off their iPad which they got as a gift or lucky draw. I've seen a lot of similar auctions at eBay Sg. As for warranty, iPad is world wide warranty and I don't think you need a receipt to claim it coz all data is store electronically by apple.

If u dont want to face any prob, just buy from apple store online. The price for malaysia is quite cheap now... Just bought for my wife with free engraving and gift box.... And the best part is free shipping.

Check the seller reviews/feedbacks. If its ok. Why not? But dont regret when the item comes and its ... a lemon.
