don't you think even with the 5k bonus from the government is already enough?

what happen to the prize money anyway? we get 100k USD right? won't it be divided among the whole team i.e. players, manager, coaches, physios etc?
*
dude, why not enough? this is south east asia cup, not asia cup ...

yes, same to dato lcw that won those badminton super series, he not getting all the prize money as BAM need use the prize money to pay his coach, accomodation, sparring partner ect ...

Tak yah la kita gaduh pasal bende2 camni. Ni baru bende kecik kita dah gaduh. Susah kita nak bersatu kalau berterusan macam ni. Mengenai pasal 'tabung' ni, bagi aku ni macam salah satu cara nak beritahu players malaysia yang rakyat malaysia masih menyokong players. kira macam extra motivation walaupun aku rasa players da sedia maklum dengan sokongan yang diberikan masa dalam stadium.

Tak perlu la kita nak ukur atau persoalkan pasal sejauh mana masing2 menyokong pasukan malaysia. setiap orang ada cara yang tersendiri. tak pergi stadium bukan bermakna tak menyokong. aku pun tak pergi stadium gak sebab masa lawan tu aku kat Sarawak pasal kerja tapi aku keep track dengan score melalui handphone jer.

pasal derma tu plak, hak masing2. nak derma, silakan. tak nak derma, tidak apa. tak jatuh hukum haram pun kalau tak derma.

Awareness doesn't necessarily involved the squad that won the cup. Road tour, more friendly match, stressing the development on young kids are the method that I can think of. Do you watched the TV3 program (I can't remember the name) where young potential kids were gathered all over from Msia and trained. Soccer kids or something. It's a good program and I am not sure why the never continue that.

Soccer Kids and MyTeam? I don't know why those programs has been stopped. Maybe because lack of funds, dedication or something. Or maybe it is not so easy to become a professional player by graduating through reality program concept.

I don't know but I am quite impress with the way thee young kids played in the Soccer Kids program. If I am not mistaken, they beat the Japanese team (same age category). It was quite impressive.

Soccerkids still there at TV3.. maybe this season has ended..

BTW,, my purpose of creating this thread not just to create awareness.. i want to create the idea that if you work hard for your country to bring success, we will not only back them up morally.. but also financially...

i want parents to train their child to be a footballer beacuse not only its a noble career, but also a rewarding career if you work hard enough..

it doest mean without the money they wont do it, just that it feel nice to be and felt rewarded if they do. We also had had that moment in our working live now dont we...

any other suggestion how to make proffesional fotball as an attractive and rewarding carreer? or we just left it to the G to settle it for us as usual?

career as a football player in Malaysia is rewarding, more so least for the top players. i'm pretty sure that the monthly salary for our top players (the Aidil, the Zaquan, the Safee, the Shahrul Idlan, the Baddrol) reaching and well over the 5 digits bar. and if you are special, go abroad and the pay is even better

the problem for me is not career as football player not rewarding enough, but the awareness among the parents about sports industry (as a whole not just football) as excellent career prospect. in my opinion the pencen scheme seems to be a step in the right direction to increase the confidence level for everyone that career as a sportsman is indeed rewarding, or at the very least terjamin

hahaha, Malaysia will never progress higher in sport or economy when people always compared them with this, that etc. Just like our government comparing the price of fuel with the likes of Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand etc.

*
only Hafiz Hashim's coach can elaborate why Hafiz's performance drop after the All england... the are probaply multiple reason why it happened... i am sure its not because lack of want of trying.... its not fair to use his example alone to dismissed us from rewarding our performing sportsman..
the reward is not only for him.. but a warning to all aspiring junior sportsman that they also will be rewarded as much if they work hard to achieve greatness....

money is the fuel that keeps the world running... it is bollocks to think that sports industry is different than that...

wow... on the field you compare us with Japan and Korea...

but of the field you compare us with Laos and Vietnam... rclxms.gif

Laotian and Vietnamese will give whatever they can to reward their players... so will us....

there are also footballers on our side who cannot sleep thinking how they gonna feed their family.... now what we gonna do about it?
