depends on the person, if he's a gamer, and financially sound, there are more than one could think of

and if he's a gamer and not so financially sound, well, there are still more than he can buy by justifying it.. example, I have a friend that rather spend money on games, rather than go drinking an RM200 Booze  laugh.gif

just my 2 cents

I'll take games over booze anytime, seriously, as RM200 can get me tonnes of games, while booze is just one night and a few toilet trips.

I still take booze from time to time, cause games cant really give the experience of drinking real booze. biggrin.gif

No getting drunk in Witcher doesnt count, nor even close.

Sigh, there's always a hint of sadness when I think of how much free time I had during university days. I was a hardcore gamer since young up to the point of graduation. Completely stopped gaming except for PES and NFS during first few years of working... until Dragon Age came out.

Dragon Age blew my mind mostly due to the fact that I love a good story-telling RPG and also technology had changed so much since I stopped gaming before that. What was impossible before had become possible. I did waste a lot of time on games after that. After work everyday I tried to squeeze in a couple of hours at least and weekends were wasted too.

One fine day I was logged into WoW on a Saturday morning and I realized how bad the addiction had become tongue.gif So, I stopped a while and now it's an occassional thing. Becomes crazy once in a while but I manage to keep it under control and spend time elsewhere...

Ahh video games, can't live with you, can't live without you...

from wat i see, we all and griping about the fact that we all used to be hardcore gamers during our schooling days and can only play davey jones version since we got no moolah, moolah all go to CC or magic or pokemon. then now we are working, we got the moolah but can't afford to spend time playing them sad.gif

my working place is very near to mine, so i normally reach home around 630pm. my gf is studying in KL and i'm in Penang....so that kinda gives me a bit more time to play since going out together at night is not possible tongue.gif just phone calls before sleeping or sometimes gaming have to take the backseat.

almost everyday i'll get to play at least one HoN game with my friends. usually the total amount of HoN session is 2 hours. and after that i got to spend some time playing Utopia (online text based game) as the usual time for my kingdom to "wave" is midnight or 1am.

and yeah, i usually don't have enough sleep and have to drag myself up from bed every single monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday.

weekends is gaming haven for most ppl, but not for me as i've things to do on weekends which usually takes up half the day or sometimes whole day.
