Any good feedback from Sony Home Theater System? Planning to get one for my new house and my budget is about 4-5K. Just the speaker sound system and amp only.

Any sifu can advise me?

How big is your house? Is base important? For that price, perhaps you could get a slightly better one such as Yamaha or Onkyo. Go for active sub if you can for deeper and richer bass.

From your budget, better get trusted brand AVR like Yamaha, Onkyo, Pioneer, Marrant or Denon.

Isn't Sony also a trusted brand? Do Yamaha, Onkyo, Pioneer, Marrant or Denon have wireless satellite speakers because i don't want wires to lie around on the floor. From my budget, any specific models to get? I am a noob in home theater system.

This budget for me for sure got for Yamaha or other better brand.
Sony not that good la. Limited function.

Wireless look tidy only. Quality for sure wire XD.

If u have 5k budget, go for professional AV like Yamaha,Onkyo,Denon etc....dun buy SONY for hi-end audio hi-fi...not worth the money.

Better not go for Sony with such a budget.

Whoa, your budget is not bad, but choosing entire set as SONY is a waste. Look around for other brands.

If I were you with that budget... I would first go for:
Denon 1611 Amp = RM1k++
MARANTZ LS-6000 5.1 speaker system set = RM2.5k
The rest, spend it on cables & BD Player
