Me too! I love a well thumbed book compared to a brand new one. I've waged war against silverfish with cloves and since I threw a handful of those into my bookcase, I am yet to see a single silverfish. So perhaps it works ... or maybe the silverfish are huddled together in some dark corner plotting revenge.

^ I wonder if sticking a dehumidifier (of the Thirsty Hippo variety) would help ...

Good question. I've not replaced them since I threw them in 2 years ago blink.gif Maybe I should replace them now. tongue.gif

I threw about 10 into each shelf.
