QUOTE(littleprawn @ Sep 10 2011, 09:19 AM) thanks.. Added on September 11, 2011, 1:59 am QUOTE(CalvinCLK @ Sep 10 2011, 10:59 PM) Am considering between Canon S95 and Olympus XZ-1... Any reviews on the two? I know this is XZ-1 thread, comments give may be biased towards XZ-1.. i can only take around 200pics on a single charge, hd video is not that good, please consider this if video is one of your concern. if u need good hd video LX5 is much better.Added on September 11, 2011, 12:06 amAfter reading review here.. Looks like XZ-1 is the one.. Added on September 11, 2011, 1:33 amI'm concern about the batt life coz I will be using it for my overseas trip.. How many photo on average can it shoot in 1 full charge? white colour is pretty, black one looks solid..my 2 sen. QUOTE(Ryou @ Sep 11 2011, 03:25 AM) I read that topic in dpreview too. personally think that the custom setup for lowlight performance is pretty much useful. i tried too and seems to work...also if wanna reduce dramatically the video focus hunting, i follow a tip to set the focus to center and seems focus hunting almost gone and video looks waaay better..for portrait, if wanna have blurry background, i zoom to the max and use the biggest appature (112mm/f2.5), even though at longest zoom and biggest appature the image still very sharp. spot metering will only interpret light metering on the spot on the center of the picture (for some can multi spot)..in this case the lighting outside the jeans might be too overexposed by reflection on the floor so to have correct metering we can switch to spot metering and aim it on the jeans..pls correct me sifu sniper..
