eh, anyone having any problems running this game on Windows 7?
had problems since i change from xp to 7, and installed some windows hotfix

mine keeps crashing, i roll back my gfx driver, even system restore to before any windows updates were installed, but still crash at login/character selection.. need to run in compatible mode is it?

btw i'm defiant on briarcliff
any local defiant guilds in briar?

What's your PC set-up?

I am running Rift on my ASUS Laptop ASUS (A42JA) with Windows 7, 4GB RAM and ATI Radeon HD5730 2GB-DDR3 graphics card with no problems.

Just started playing the trial on weekend.

i have to say the rift sealing really lighten up questing. Indeed very addictive i would say.

Now got 30% discount, dunno wanna buy or not. hmm

So many ppl quit, then only u want to play, LOL ..

got nothing to play.. ROFL!~

i m waiting for other games atm.

Wanna play certain games but due to lag.
This one lag is ok.

i'm still lagging badly starting 6pm to 1am. other time just fine.

i`m badly laggin since yesterday until now.. totally cannot play. Its seem malaysia connection have problem and not stable.. Thx StreamyxSuxx

yea, me also...ping always fluctuate between 300+ to 2k ping

yeah.. i`m just transfer to dayblind.. but seriously cannot play with unstable fluctuate ping.. guess to wait tomorrow

It is not cause of Rift from what I can guess.
Streamyx and Unifi users are having the same problem with Rift.

I suspect this is caused by the recent Website/URL blocking by all ISP in Malaysia thanks to SKMM.
In their efforts to look good to SKMM, they must block alot of other ports which Rift and quite a few other website uses.

Because of this we are getting Packet Loss that makes us spike like idiots while playing Rift...
I'm still trying to solve this with fail Unifi and they cant even find the problem themself, no hope for our ISP.

You guys can check this by downloading "pingplotter" and testing it on 208.94.26.1 = Rift server

how to check ur ping.this game have consumed my life.my wife always mad at me when im playing and my work performance is dropping

just move over it can see the ping and fps
