How's the quest? Or is it grind fest like Aion?

Less than 2 hours to open beta!!! ROAR!!!!

The quest is very standard,
Go here, kill this, collect that, capture those, bring them back, etc etc...

By the way, wondering if there gonna be alot of Msian players or not.

Also, which test server are you all on?

I had preorder the game, anyone else?

Tested the game, seems ok the graphic looks not bad, better than wow, the graphic looks more like WAR, the rift dynamic event also seems like the WAR public quest. Apart from that the quest are the usual one, kill x amount, or collect x amount....

The best part was it's doesn't feel lag though...

I got graphic problem now.Can't see characters or maps.All I can see is just plain and no characters.

I also beta tested the game. Seems not bad.
Let's gather all Malaysian here. Then we join the same server when launched. Should be more fun. ^^

This beta will be my deciding factor if I subscribe for the game or not.

I am lvl 35 priest in Briarclift (PVP) server.

I also beta tested the game, with 1MB streamyx no lag issues kinda happy! but so few Asian playing feel boring.

Doubt that they will block cause its not mentioned that its meant for US / Euro only.

Also, when I joined Beta, I put my location as Malaysia and they still let me in.

Definitely gonna pre order this... any local stores doing retail version pre-order?

Yeah i know i also put malaysia and i also get the beta invitation but an assurance is better, later who know they decides to block non US / EU region ip then finish lah we all. I have submit a ticket asking them.

I've played it till lvl 21 as a Defiant Warrior. I like the new atmosphere for once after having a break from WoW. I really enjoy the rifting and the first instance i went seems pretty interesting, definitely not as complicated as Wow bosses, but the way they are is just fine for me .

There isn't any region lock at the moment, because some our friends are playing from Malaysia, I heard some of them are getting like 370-450ms on uni-fi , not sure about the norm streamyx. I'm playing from aus, so getting bout 250ms.


Probably getting the game and i heard that the unofficial oceanic is Briarcliff PVP ?

Damn they bring the server for upgrading something....sometimes it just kill the mood.
btw how do you check on ping ?

I get a reply from the official saying they are not blocking any region so its safe to play.

on the bottom left, an icon looks like a computer. Just point it you will see your ping and frame rate.

anyway does anyone know when the official launch do we need to re-download the client again or simply patch through beta client ?

I'm thinking its possibly a re-download, cause the files seem to be saved in the "users/appdata/local" section.

If not they probably do a full update , then changing the directory.

The worst mood spoiler is when you're doing those super major rift invasions, and then the server goes down . Though its beta, its kinda exciting XD.

Now deciding which faction to play, when i get the game...
