I am not sure if I've hurt my wrist but during pregnancy, my wrist started to hurt. I asked around and people told me it was the water retention. Even the doctor said so. That gave me the feeling that nothing can be done until I have given birth. Our baby is about 5 weeks old now and I'm still on my confinement break. My wrist still hurt. I visited a chinese-sensei recently who told me that my veins around the wrist is inflamed.

I am worried. My relative who frequent a chinese-sensei (whom, I've also visited previously) suggested to do acupuncture. I would also like to know what options do I have with the western medicine.

Does anyone else feels the same wrist pain as I mentioned? The pain is around the place where we wear our watches, nearer to the palm rather than the arm. My husband told me, I probably used the computer mouse too much. I'm not sure because everyone said different things.

Please help!

I will give the titanium bracelet thing a try to see if it works. Problem is, my wrist are quite small so worry I cannot find a size that fit. Heard they are quite expensive, >RM100?

I thought it was very nice until I saw...RM880? NO!
Hahahaha... right now we cannot afford this kind of luxuries.

Ok, thanks for sharing. I will try to reduce the usage of my wrist... quite hard since I am having it both hands. Like having to not use my hand at all but still need to carry baby when feeding him.

joliana,
Does that Paingone pen works for you? How does it work actually?

faceless,
Thanks for sharing your methods. I'm also leaning more towards chinese herbs but am not very knowledgeable. I will go to the medicine shop and speak to those people based on your suggestion.
