if anyone ever realise korea and japan plays a very technical style of football. They move the ball around and play it on the ground. I personally think this suits us Asians since we don't have tall and strong and big size players.
but then Korean scored their second goal after squeezing and out-muscling their opponent...

its has been that way for ages.... the level of skill probably competitive.. but they have far better physical built than us..
The South Koreans have the highest average heights in Asia and can compare with Europeans. Their players are usually themselves physically capable, consider Ki Sung Yueng and Cha Du Ri, who are both above 180cm and play in the highly physical Scottish league. With Japan, you've got guys like Maya Yoshida and many Iranians come from the same Caucasian stock and are physically imposing as well. So we can hardly say that Asians cannot play the physical game, even though the Australians seem to think that that's the advantage they have.
In terms of physical build for Malaysia though, I would attribute that to diet perhaps. It is a wonder why other Pacific populations in Hawaii and New Zealand produce people with the build to play rugby and American football well, while their relatives in Southeast Asia grow differently.
But Malaysia does need to buff up I think. We don't quite have enough tall players for centrebacks, for example.
