Who are the commentators again? I heard some dude that sounds like Paul Masefield and this other dude who can hardly speak English.

I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's round of matches. I thought South Korea were superior to the Aussies tactically and technically. The lads from down under were workmanlike which kept them in the game. I wonder how much Australian football will decline when the likes of Lucas Neil, Harry Kewell and Brett Emeron retire.
The Bahrain vs. India game was arguably more exciting. I have to say that :- 1) India's keeper is shite and... 2) Aaish is probably the dumbest lad on the planet at the moment. Already cautioned, he chose to dive with his side ahead, leaving them with 10 men. What the hell was he thinking? That's right, he wasn't. |

Japan showed amazing resilience in their game. I really thought they were dead an buried being a goal and a man down. Kudos to their tenacious comeback.
Looking at the Qatari lineup, I was surprised to see names like Lawrence (Ghana), George (Ghana), Fabio (Brazil), Marcone (Brazil), Goma (Guinea) and Sebastian (Uruguay), all of whom became naturalised Qataris within the past 4-5 years. I know for a fact that Qatar was recruiting consultants and agencies to help prepare for their World Cup big around that time. Perhaps they plan to recruit more foreign talent in the years to come to bolster their squad? Not a fan of Australia. With players like Cahill and Neill in the team, I find it hard to root for them. |

Geeze I thought it was all over. Was going to turn off the Telly and then a last second equalizer. Super stuff. Wouldn't be disappointed if this were the final
