QUOTE(NasiLemakMan @ Dec 28 2010, 08:25 PM) See Malaysia sends Team B for this tourney and still got into finals. Team A should be Asia Cup material. actually, of those 8, maybe only 3 can expect to return direct to the first team - namely Baddrol, Aidil and maybe Azmi Muslim - after the other's performance in this tournament the rest has to slug it out with the reserve...... |

QUOTE(Aztec @ Dec 28 2010, 08:39 PM) im very impressed with muslim and fadli as the CB pairing..so hard to say if aidil deserves to be back in.. zaquan? Safee-Norshahrul FTW u forgot about zaquan though..malaysian football poster boy.. for me Aidil-Muslim are the best future pairing... but for next year, i think there will be a clear separation between world cup qualifying team (senior) and olympic qualifying team (U21)... aidil-zamani(nasriq) will men the former and fadli-muslim will continue to man the latter.... |

QUOTE(hidzwan @ Dec 28 2010, 09:52 PM) come on guys..u dun expect shit to taste sweet isn't it..i'm really concern bout our players and supporters there..if the indons authorities didn't keep their promise to be responsible to our country citizens security, then lets war settle it down.. Bro,the indons police wont even protect their citizens when football wars break out. Why would they protect other people?... they just go in to clear the rubble after both side broken down after the clash... |

QUOTE(nenasoren @ Dec 28 2010, 11:18 PM) Im really not sure about indonesians who lived in their mainland, but most of indonesians who came here (eg: profesionals, students) are actually nice and friendly. But the attitudes of those in indonesia mainland, with all the threats on malaysian people, i really dont see any sporting attitude there. I cant understand why they think they are the one with more sporting attitude. yeah.. thats the most mind-f***ed thing about it..... |

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Dec 29 2010, 08:58 AM) Been away from my PC for a few days now but thought I'd give my 2 cents anyway. For the first time in a long time, I'm actually eager to watch tonight's match. Judging from the crowd I saw on telly during the first leg, I reckon many Malaysians have been waiting with just as much anticipation for the team to get their act together and it seems as though Rajagopal may have moulded together a quality product. I only caught the last two goals but I must say they were quality. Safee's second goal of the night was a page out of the "Les Ferdinand - How to Score Headers" text book. The young lads showed good overall technique and the team didn't look like strangers. man.. you should have come to the stadium.. it was electric... could give the best night at the Kop a run for their money.... What do I make of the whole laser beam incident? Well, it was unsavoury. I mean you could clearly see the green beam in the face of the players and it must have been distracting. Sadly, you will get a bunch of idiots at every game that don't realise their conduct off the pitch can affect results on it. Teams have been banned from their own stadiums for violent conduct and although this incident wasn't its physical equal, it could well have led to the match being called off and us needing a goal at least in Indonesia. Still, to blame their defeat purely on the lasers is a poor excuse. In the end, they were undone by a combination of dodgy defending and quality. After countless debates with arresandro, I must say that he has a point. Things may just be looking up. The team is young with a number of teenagers in the wings, led by veterans at what? 24 tops? If they can keep improving, I'm darn sure the fans will be back. That's what I meant though. Forget about urging fans to the stadium under the guise of patriotism. Do well and they will flock in naturally. Pull vs. Push factor. The latter is more permanent and wins all the time. it had melt the most solid of hearts... grown man wept uncontrollably... expect more of those tonite... this team not only improve from the whole length of the tournament, you can see a CLEAR difference from each group match, the semi finals and finals itself... lets all hope they can close the deal tonight.. Malaysian are so humid that no one dares to issues pot shot of confidence to the other side... we want this soo bad that we dont wan to jeopardize or jinx anything.. even after a 3-0 lead, nobody - NOBODY- can speak without a hint of caution in their choice of words..
until our captain speaks i agreed and disagree with him in some way about Indonesia team.. its not that the Indons is not good.. its just that the playing style of Vietnam and Thailand are more torturous to us.. their game are all about flair and passing and cannot be pressed at all... the only way to steal the ball is to buckle deep and lure them to us,,, Indonesia timnas is more OUR style of play This post has been edited by aressandro10: Dec 29 2010, 11:43 AM |

QUOTE(jason4883 @ Dec 29 2010, 11:59 AM) My prediction : Indonesia 1 - 0 Malaysia. nope .. i want the full ranking point to overtake Singapore in the world ranking... :stuckup:At least let them win the 2nd leg la... Btw, does the away goal(s) rule counts here in this tournament? we are only on 20 points difference with SG base on results before the semis... if all things gone our way, there are a good chance we can overtake 2 SEA rivals in the FIFA World Ranking to 4th place... we have been stuck at 6th for a long looong time already... |
