guys. wanna ask abit noob here lar when comes to optical connection.
i want to connect this to my xbox360. then i did some research, ended up what Toslink optical. My question., is all optical cables are the same? or they have diff diff types?.. types as in the "head". thanks |

also another thing, i c they provide a 24feet long cables for the 5500 series. BUt its not long enuff for me, to setup the 2 back satelites. I need at least 40 feet. So, if i buy seperate cables, whats the limit of feet i cant go tru?

ahh finally guys. got my z5500 last weekend. Bloody ^&!^&%!#!@# shit.. i sprained my back for carrying this box to my car. Then set it up at night..
Cause its night, i cant blast it.. so i was a bit dissapointed.. sound so normal, even my old aego M sounds better ( but i cant compare, aego M has been always better for music * personal ears).. Anyway, the next day, plug it into my xbox tru optical, then blast it... superb.. Music, blast it with groove amada, solid wood cupboard shakes.. i would say.. not bad for movies and games.. |

anyway,,, currently im using creative extreme music, so my question.. any significant diffs if i upgrade to higher ends?.. *note, most of my music is cds. not mp3s.

no lar its not banned here.. still can get everywhere, but just limited. I heard from sumwhere also, last time they say its launched way slower than other country.. need to pass dunno what QC test ?

Guys, just wanna share. The last time i was asking about the speaker stand sold in ikea can be used with our 5500 or not..
Answer is yes. It look a bit DIY lar.. but it still can fit. Im using it now. Will post a pic if anyone needs to know step by step. |
