I found a black spot on my camera out of sudden. Visible in camera and view from computer. Weird thing is the black spot isn't there when i didn't attach my lens on. Tried 2 lenses and gave the same outcome.

Should pay BTS a visit?

is it recommended to get a battery grip?? planning to get a md 11...

for those who own a battery grip... mind to share why u got one?? cheers!

Good for portrait capturing and handling. Make your camera more balance especially big lens and mount with flash. Going down town soon to grab MD-11 before back for CNY holiday biggrin.gif

i just bought my first lens for my d3100 yesterday biggrin.gif .. nikkor 35mm f/1.8g (rm770) + nikon 52mm uv filter (RM90)
... is the filter and price ok?
at first the shop recommended marumi uv filter for RM60.
*
Pretty okay price i would say. But then still can get lower for the lens around 20+-.

Anyway, it's better not to ask about the price since you have purchased it. Just go shoot around and be happy smile.gif

Problem is if you put double battery, you need to deattach your grip to get out the battery inside the camera. That's the inconvenient part.

Got a stubborn black spot, forced to send my camera for sensor cleaning. It's visible at small aperture number. T.T

you can try blow it away first, if still have then only send for cleaning.
if seldom shoot with small aperture, then no need to bother haha. my sensor full of dust if i shoot with f22 tongue.gif

Blow with Giottos Rocket until hand sore also won't get away. That's why I decided to send it off for cleaning. Tired to PP the black spot dy.

what is the difference between DX and FX nikkor?
What happens when I use them on my D90?

Im looking for a telephoto zoom lens but not those sniper la.. budget <RM3000. wanna use for bird-birding.
any suggestion?

DX is a 1.5 crop. For example you attach a 50mm on, it will be 75mm on DX.

FX is full frame which is non crop sensor.

Lowepro is too common. Hahaha. Can be spotted easily everywhere. Nikon leather type seems good with no Nikon word.
