Same usage as tripod, but need to hold it and won't take much space compared to tripod

Buying equipment at SG is way cheaper than Malaysia(Please do not convert to RM, u earn there and spend there).. a 70-200vr2 and D700 cost less than SGD6k, but at Malaysia u have to pay a cool Rm14k for both, see what i mean?

Seems like focused on the hand instead of eyes, btw the D7000 in low light no match for D700/D3/D3s, so it's not a monster, only a puppy

Definitely not 70-200, it's WA perspective lol, yah the sigma lens is quite sharp

Lol, i haven't compared to Nikkor before but based on my observations from testing the lens a while at Nikon Center, I would say the Nikon is sharper wide open, focusing nikkor of course faster but HSM is not slow either(way better than any D lens)... colour seems to be good, that's why I requested some 24-70 files from you yesterday , want to poison my friend to get this Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8 instead of 24-70 HSM.. oh yeah I was using flashlight there, so still ok lar my ISO was 800 all the way, sometimes stopped down to f/3.5 and f/4 also fine but upstair i was using my friend's 85 1.4D @ F/2 with SB900..

It doesnt jerk as the D lens as well, HSM noiseless and smooth... I saw the pic of yours as well using 14-24, so freaking sharp

105 F2 N VR will be awesome, having trouble getting usable images when the shutter speed is lower than 1/60s

I found out my hand is not as stable as before, probably been relying on 70-200vr too much ... Check my shots using 85 f/1.4D before, 1/60seconds mostly shaky

Haiyoh, that's why I am thinking of getting lenses with VR .. VR2 on 70-200 is great, 1/15 can say 9 out of 10 is sharp..i even got some shot below 1/10seconds . Hope nikon comes out with 105 F2 VR Nanocoat

2seconds with 70-200 zoomed to 200, i buy over his lens, don't exaggerate la, with wide angle 16-35 F/4Vr i also can easily do below 1/10 seconds

Of course, @1/16s --> 1/8s--> 1/4s--> 1/2s-->1s, so another 4 stops lower 1 second

Doable, easy is probably a bit over ... Any shutter speed below 1/10s is pretty easy to achieve with 16-35 F/4 VR @ 16mm

If using wireless flash device (like from Pocketwizard, phottoxand so on) to trigger, that means we can't use speed higher than 1/250s even with auto FP on right?

There's only an expensive way to achieve fast and accurate AF in low light, FX camera+Nanocoat G lens

Added on January 14, 2011, 10:09 amJust set your shutter button to release priority(will shoot no matter in focus or not), i have set mine to focus priority instead(default setting is release priority, check under your user manual where's the setting)
