Buying equipment at SG is way cheaper than Malaysia(Please do not convert to RM, u earn there and spend there).. a 70-200vr2 and D700 cost less than SGD6k, but at Malaysia u have to pay a cool Rm14k for both, see what i mean? whistling.gif

Seems like focused on the hand instead of eyes, btw the D7000 in low light no match for D700/D3/D3s, so it's not a monster, only a puppy whistling.gif

How is it compared to the Nikkor? Yesterday use it so pekcek under low light LOL... damn -.-
*
Lol, i haven't compared to Nikkor before but based on my observations from testing the lens a while at Nikon Center, I would say the Nikon is sharper wide open, focusing nikkor of course faster but HSM is not slow either(way better than any D lens)... colour seems to be good, that's why I requested some 24-70 files from you yesterday brows.gif , want to poison my friend to get this Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8 instead of 24-70 HSM.. oh yeah I was using flashlight there, so still ok lar my ISO was 800 all the way, sometimes stopped down to f/3.5 and f/4 also fine but upstair i was using my friend's 85 1.4D @ F/2 with SB900..

Way better than any D lens? Sure or not~ the some D are faster than G you know.

Haha the whole event I didn't use flash at all.. the group pic shoot with 1424 at 14mm f/4 damn cun! Kaolat sharp. Today need remember take the photo from Steven LOL since using his unit instead, lazy to open my lens hahaha.
*
It doesnt jerk as the D lens as well, HSM noiseless and smooth... I saw the pic of yours as well using 14-24, so freaking sharp shocking.gif

I found out my hand is not as stable as before, probably been relying on 70-200vr too much cry.gif ... Check my shots using 85 f/1.4D before, 1/60seconds mostly shaky sweat.gif

See. Technology kills tongue.gif
Sometimes, I purposely off my VR to try how slow I can goes. I can go till 1/30 also on 70200
If with VR, 1/15 still can tongue.gif
*
Haiyoh, that's why I am thinking of getting lenses with VR sweat.gif .. VR2 on 70-200 is great, 1/15 can say 9 out of 10 is sharp..i even got some shot below 1/10seconds shocking.gif . Hope nikon comes out with 105 F2 VR Nanocoat drool.gif

Of course, @1/16s --> 1/8s--> 1/4s--> 1/2s-->1s, so another 4 stops lower 1 second shocking.gif

Doable, easy is probably a bit over brows.gif ... Any shutter speed below 1/10s is pretty easy to achieve with 16-35 F/4 VR @ 16mm

If using wireless flash device (like from Pocketwizard, phottoxand so on) to trigger, that means we can't use speed higher than 1/250s even with auto FP on right?

Probably because your focus hunting, indoor lowlight perhaps? I think your case is like it shoot, then refocus, then shoot.

Side note, 85mm bokeh. biggrin.gif.

Just set your shutter button to release priority(will shoot no matter in focus or not), i have set mine to focus priority instead(default setting is release priority, check under your user manual where's the setting)
