Optech strap more comfortable than crumpler?
*
crumpler possibly more comfortable.
but optech also comfortable, but i also like the optech for the quick release and pro-loop system cos easier to hook and remove from cameras etc.

Great price u got there everdying... Include batt as well? Can last for how many shots?
*
no la, without batt.
if with batt i think the place bankrupt already cos ori batt is around RM150 extra tongue.gif

ori batt of cos can last for anywhere from 600+ to 1000 shots or so...so double la if u got another EL-15 inside the grip.

Thanks everdying... I will try to nego kao kao with the seller to get around rm480.... So u use 3rd party batt in ur grip?? How much is it and brand? To be honest I wan to get this grip is just that to get the grip feel... Not intending to use the extra batt... I'm wondering is there any 3rd party batt grip for d7000?
*
so far havent seen any 3rd party batt or grip.
the grip also has another container where u can put in 6x AA batts if u really need extra power.

i'm interested to shoot sports, mainly football, for my team. what lens should i get if i'm to buy the D3100 ya? thanks.
*
if its mostly in the day time, for newer lenses then the 55-200mm VR or 55-300mm VR should do.
if you got abit more money, then 70-300mm VR as it focuses faster.

wanna find something that can also be used to take concert shots.

Yea.... Correct! u probably CAN'T focus in low light!! budget?? 17-50 + SB900!! For concerts? 70-200 VRII  flex.gif  28-75 no idea..... but Tamron has prob with focus la.... I got 1 fren using 1 big Tamron lens, forgotten which 1 already, bright daylight oso cant focus correctly, hahaaaa..... I think the 17-50 is one of the best Tamron could offer la, but I do appreciate the VC of Tamron very very much!! too dependent on VR dy, perhaps u can look at Sigma 17-50 OS, better still....
*
flash usually not allowed...and no need 70-200 la...going to try getting passes so i can be right in front.
VR / OS not too important since it cant help ppl from staying still tongue.gif

yea indeed i do miss out a lot of photog opportunity before i got a dslr...for an example, when i visited sydney with my crappy slr, all of my friend were using dslr, those shutter melody keep making me envy lol as my slr produce a fake shutter click sound...u know how its feel ayte  cry.gif  cry.gif ...but after i got my dslr, i pay a visit to sydney again  tongue.gif ...
cant wait to go back aus after cny... there is lot of potential i mean landscape and potrait to capture  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
doesnt matter la.
a DSLR certainly can help u take nicer looking photos, but sometimes doesnt mean they are good photos.
if u surf / read often enough u will see winning photos that are taken using a PnS.

mine working fine. smile.gif
my low light is something like f/1.8 at iso3200 getting around 1/30, 1/40 speed.
of cos it focuses, but roughly 30-40% will focus short...whereas my 70-300 vr even tho smaller aperture can focus more accurately.

even something like this messing around at 3am...fully extended at 300mm / iso6400...still focuses well enough.
