Unable to actually buy stuff officially from the marketplace is not just a WP7 problem, Android is the same, and so was the iPhone until they came over here officailly.

Can’t wait for Angry Birds to come out on Windows Phone 7? Here’s your chance to have a similar gaming experience on your new device. XDA member jabberworx told us that Chicks’n'Vixens is ready to download from the market as a free beta. The game falls pretty much in line with what millions are familiar with from Angry Birds: you fire one animal (in this case chickens) into other animals (foxes) and attempt to use each bird’s “special powers” to knock down a tower structure and progress through levels.

Name: Chicks’n'Vixens

video of 0.5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAXHUy1H9II
Updated to Beta 0.51
Changes:

Game works in all regions (bug in float parsing where ‘.’ was ignored has been resolved)
Added new levels
The foxes now fall to the ground when they die, they roll when they are pushed around
Physics engine has been tightened up and various optimizations made (some levels play slightly differently).
Level 4 made near impossible, if you can beat it you are a master.

Type of App: Games
Name of App: MonsterUp
Price: SG$3.49
Comments: It's essentially doodle jump with a new paintjob with extra characters + individual power ups. I was surprised this game wasn't really advertised well as the gameplay is top notch and the animations just beat majority of the games currently on the marketplace.

I highly recommend to skip lunch and get this game instead.

Well, I read somewhere that you'd have a better chance of doing this if your card is MasterCard, instead of Visa. It was from an article on how to buy stuff from zune marketplace, and this is before Wp7.

Yea. You're right. My payment are cleared now. Thanks!

By the way, does anyone can tell that Xbox games has an expiry date since the date of purchasing or its once time purchase for life?

Games don't expire, doesn't mean the service wouldn't though. But that's a risk with all digital delivery media

Should be for life, but don't uninstall them in case app/game is taken out of the marketplace. for example the recent game twin blades was removed because it received a Mature rating or something like that for another platform.

Yeah! Thanks for replying. I've tried. Once you download, the software will be eventually reside in your phone. You can unistall it. Just ensure the game doesn't get remove from Marketplace. You'll be able to install back again. : )

I've another issue. : ) It seems I can't connect my Windows Live ID to Zune. It says country code issue. Anyone know how to resolve?

Yea! I'm getting that error. Means if my credit card was tie to the Australian address means I've to change my region to Australia?

Or whenever I wanna start my Zune I've to change my region to US?

EDIT: *I've got it! Thanks a lot! I change my region to Australia.* Thanks pal!

Anyone can advise how to you all download some of the games that hits 100mb or more? It would takes a long time to download with our data connection.

Is there any alternative way to download w/o Wi-Fi?
