Just shifted to another place actually. TV is part of overall cost of some things I plan to buy... including
- computer table - 390
- computer chair - 570
- tv set - 1600 (32") or 2300 (40" after cashback)
- fixtures (minor stuff here and there, eg clock, small tiny things) - allocate 200
RM2760 for 32" or RM3460 for 40"
The thing is I'm not keen on the BD player (comes with 40"), would prefer the home theater system (comes with 32").
I guess since I don't really watch much BD, and don't have Astro Beyond, getting a Full HD TV will be a waste of money (right?). Probably gonna watch normal DVDs and stuff I download off the net. So full HD and large screen will only be a waste since everything will be so pixelated anyway. Will probably settle for the 32" then... first time buying a TV set ever. Don't remember the big blocky CRTs back then caused so much headache - just choose what size you want and get it. Haha...
I was in the same situation as you,I saw that promo and thought which one to get,I prefered the 40'',but it came with a BD player which I didn't need,on the other hand, the HT that comes with the 32'' looks good - computer table - 390
