the filter itself i think less than RM100 after conversion, excluding shipping to malaysia biggrin.gif

ermm... did the water pass thru the check valve ?? meaning enter the other end, if no then should be ok

personally i tie the check valve at higher level, higher than my tank water level =D

yupe.. those stainless steel mesh that plant seller claims are not 100% stainless steel.. they will get rush as time passed.. lolx

my diffuser suck in water too, the water will back flow until check valve.. so every morning when i turn on co2 for first time, need to open more to push all the water back to tank =.=

just use a pc fan will do.. haha.. then find out its amp, make sure ur dc adapter is 12v and can supply that current.. biggrin.gif

@ hvaly, of course blowing on the water, but note that u need to top up water more frequent after that.. lolx.. the water level drop much faster than without fan

@ Betta, argh... i am looking to upgrade my lightning too ... yupe..9v will work too, just that won't get optimum rpm / fan speed tongue.gif

currently i just using cheapo lightning that come with my tank, aqua zonic

feel that not enough wattage .. lolx
