I got question...

I got some nice driftwood from a 4 feet tank that has been abandoned for almost 2 years today. Its full of algae, even BGA and snails.

So I'm thinking of treating the driftwood with bleach to remove all the possible algae and snails eggs. Is this recommended???

I've already rinsed it a few times with hot water.

My Co2 on 24 hours, but only at 0.25 bps, very slow. Cause I'm using inline diffuser on the inlet. If too much there will be airlock in the canister filter everyday. I scare spoil my eheim 2213. But I still can get pearlings on my water sprite and also a continous stream of oxygen bubble from the plants with co2 at 0.25bps.

How much is the inline ?

Lights on from 9 to 9, 12 hours...   So there will be high Co2 concentration once the lights are on. But also cause solenoid is expensive and I have to adjust my manual regulator with a plier cause the knob is broken. So lazy on and off manually.

where do you find surface skimmer for rm2x?
I saw ppl sell at rm3x at jalan pasar, pudu.

for the HOB, if u wan to make it efficient to suck the water surface, u have to mod it so that it just suck water surface level only.
the one that suck from the inside tank one, the HOB lower sucker, u have to shut or or somehow close it.
u saw mine also right, sort of like that.
how much does this cost in market now?

Is 10 Yamato shrimps too over for algae control in a 2 feet tank???

I'm already keeping Cherry shrimps, but I'm having some problem with hair and thread algae...

My otto maximum last only 5 months, after that all will die one by one, I don't know why. 3 batch already...  
So now want to get yamato a try... From SLS, the only one who was willing to post and with ready stock. But now, looking at the size of the yamato, I think I got too many for my tank already... They are huge compared to my cherries...

I'm the only one among my friends having a planted tank...

I have alot of baby fern, Not sure how to replant them.

The Yamato shrimps are damn aggressive when it comes to feeding... 

Now I'm afraid my cherries won't have enough to eat and most importantly, the Yamato aren't eating the 30cm long thread algae they were suppose to clean out. 

Any advice???
