Anybody got snail? I looking snail as food for my mini puffer.

I got RCS, CRS, Green Shrimp, tiger shrimp, neon tetra, cardinal tetra and Corry. My mini puffer eat all pond snails in my tank.
That fellow start nipping my fish fin after all snail gone.

3 months to be safe. Otherwise you will see some shrimp give you abnormal swimming style and die.

SAE will eat your baby shrimp.
Otto is herbivore... don't worry.

You need to add snail to solve the green algae issue.

so sad..my 90% of my shrimp population died. I lost 100+ RCS and few yamatoes. I already did 50 wc since yesterday, but they just keep dying.
It seem like some kind of poisoning. All babe shrimplet gone..20+ pregnant adult died. The morning i just stand there scratch up the eggs from the mummy. I hope i can recover some of them to turn to shrimp.

The problem happen when I try to plant new plant in my aquarium. I believe something poison is release from the substrate.
All shrimp climb up to water surface. But the fishes in my tank don't show any syndrome of ammonia poisoning.
I using the africana substrate for 6 months...What can be trap in the substrate?

I just add plant. I doubt that my canister filter does not work properly and caused the poison build up.
The new filter media that i add to my canister filter last week may affected the water flow.
