can someone explain to me why there are duplicate apps in the App folder and the App/Etc folder ??? for dropbox

first, a launcher , to customize your homescreen. Some other good apps to customize homescreen are minimalist text and simi folder widget.

then you start replacing the inbuilt apps with downloaded ones with better function.

task killer is pretty useless for android phones.

im not going to drag this thread into an argument about task killers, all i'm going to say is that you can kill apps with the stock android, and killing apps is rather useless for linux architecture. the rest you can google it up.

i put widgetlocker in the apps folder if anyone wants to use it

This program allows you to copy/paste files from your PC straight to phone. Without cable! Hahaha, first I get control my torrents wirelessly, now I get to send movies/music thru the air as well. I love android phones.

Do some research before pulling stuff out of your backside, seriously. When you open up the Running Apps in your android phone, it will also tell you how much memory each app is using. If you look properly most of the apps are NOT using any memory. So why do you kill them? They are just an empty reference , it actually consume more battery for the phone to reload the app. It's like you use Firefox , there's a function for it to free up memory when minimized so it doesnt consume resources, when you open it then it fetches the cached files. Instead you go and start it up all over again.

remember this is only for froyo and above , eclair cannot do this

they are just giving excuses for not updating it to froyo.

the updates in 1st post are custom roms.

1) put it in vibrate mode. or go to settings > sound and display > vibrate

2) the SE k750i has autofocus, this phone doesn't. A camera with AF will take much better pictures compared to a camera without.

did you check the Phone Vibrate function like i asked you to? Or did you simply check the Silent mode without scrolling downwards? They are two different options you know.
